D2 Tool Steel is a versatile high-carbon, high-chromium, air-hardening tool steel known for its relatively high attainable hardness and numerous large, chromium-rich alloy carbides in the microstructure. These carbides offer good wear resistance against sliding contact with other metals and abrasive materials.

The TG Nyxon Premium EDC Pocket Knife also boasts features such as a 420 stainless steel deep pocket belt clip, lanyard loop, and liner lock for solid construction. The handle construction includes 420 stainless steel screws and durable natural flax micarta slabs over stainless steel inlays. Flax micarta is favored for its high strength, soft feel, low moisture absorption, excellent electrical insulating properties, and chemical resistance.

Additionally, the knife showcases a high quality stonewashed D2 steel tanto blade with a hardness of 58-60HRC, heat treatment via vacuum, and a blade thickness of .14". The blade length measures at 3.5", the handle length at 5", the overall length at 8.5", and the weight at 3.56oz. This premium knife also comes with a custom box and nylon storage sheath for added convenience.
